Enhancing Security of European SMEs in Response to Cybersecurity Threats
Objectives:
- Enhance the security of open-source software for SMEs to better protect against cyber threats.
- Innovate in ethical hacking through the HackOlympics, advancing white-hat testing practices.
- Develop robust security solutions for SMEs and critical infrastructure entities.
Key Components:
- Establish a comprehensive threat intelligence framework, including:
- AI-driven cyber-attack detection mechanisms.
- Advanced penetration testing techniques.
- Integrated Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) for cohesive security.
- A decentralized threat information exchange system.
- AI-enhanced tools for predicting and analyzing cyber threats.
Introduce a user-centric dashboard for effective stakeholder interaction and proactive cybersecurity measures.
Methodology:
- Develop solutions for both attack and defense scenarios:
- Enhance existing scanning and penetration testing tools.
- Develop SIEM/IPS/IDS systems for critical infrastructures.
- Conduct adversary simulation sessions for security expert training.
