Enhancing Security of European SMEs in Response to Cybersecurity Threats


       Objectives:

  • Enhance the security of open-source software for SMEs to better protect against cyber threats.
  • Innovate in ethical hacking through the HackOlympics, advancing white-hat testing practices.
  • Develop robust security solutions for SMEs and critical infrastructure entities.

       Key Components:

  • Establish a comprehensive threat intelligence framework, including:
    • AI-driven cyber-attack detection mechanisms.
    • Advanced penetration testing techniques.
    • Integrated Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) for cohesive security.
    • A decentralized threat information exchange system.
    • AI-enhanced tools for predicting and analyzing cyber threats.
  • Introduce a user-centric dashboard for effective stakeholder interaction and proactive cybersecurity measures.

    Methodology:

  • Develop solutions for both attack and defense scenarios:
    • Enhance existing scanning and penetration testing tools.
    • Develop SIEM/IPS/IDS systems for critical infrastructures.
  • Conduct adversary simulation sessions for security expert training.
  • Use AI to enhance penetration testing tools and IDS.
  • Facilitate data sharing and provide a user-friendly dashboard for stakeholders.
